Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice - South HUB

An exciting opportunity has become available within the South Community Mental Health Team (Dementia and Frailty Service). We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to join our small, busy team.

In this role, you will deliver effective and efficient administrative support to the Team Manager and the wider community team. You will also receive the guidance and resources needed to achieve a Level 3 Qualification and the essential knowledge required to complete your Apprenticeship successfully.

Main duties of the job
  • Undertake a range of administrative duties to support the work of the team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all general queries.
  • Develop knowledge and skills.
  • Be skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation to write letters or emails, record and analyse data, and provide a range of administrative planning and support in the team.
  • Provide cover for colleagues as appropriate when required.
  • Work within a busy environment, prioritise workload with accuracy and meet deadlines.

Person SpecificationTraining & Qualification
  • Maths & English GCSE C or above / level 4-9
Knowledge and Experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Experience dealing with people over the telephone and assisting with enquiries
Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise workload
