We have a great opportunity to join our Retail Life Insurance team as a Senior Underwriter.

This is a full time role but we are also open to the role being part time. The role can also be based in either Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne or North Sydney.

You will develop and maintain relationships with our key advisers, together with effective management of a designated adviser panel. Collaborating with a range of stakeholders, you will provide technical advice and support, ensuring that underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to the handling of all cases received, applications and pre-assessments alike .

Important to your success -Unlock your potential

• Strong experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high level individual underwriting authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement within dynamic environments.
• Customer focused mindset with a solutions driven approach
• Completion of medical terminology course
• ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications, strongly desired
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
