Our client is a non-profit organisation.

The Role

As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in the coordination and execution of various events within the organisation's events calendar. You will use your organisation, time-management and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are completed on time and the desired outcomes of the event are achieved. You will work closely with the wider Events team and be a valued team-player, delivering smooth-running events to an excellent standard. You will be working a mix of large-scale conferences, to bespoke workshops. To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2 years' experience working in the corporate events sector. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Maintaining the organisation's events calendar.
  • Sourcing event locations and speakers.
  • Organising speaker's travel arrangements, as well as their notes and materials required for the event.
  • Working on-site during the event, mitigating any issues and proactively resolving problems when possible.
  • Creating event registration pages and issuing post-event surveys and feedback forms.
  • Overseeing event budgets, maintaining profit/loss analysis and ensuring the event remains in line with proposed budgets.
  • Analysing post-event feedback, reporting on the ROI and the successes/ improvements needed.
  • Organising online events and webinars, troubleshooting technical issues when needed.
  • Assisting with large-scale, multi-day events, to managing smaller, bespoke workshops.

Your Profile

  • You will have at least two years' experience working in a corporate events role.
  • You will have experience working on large-scale events and conferences.
  • You will have excellent tech skills and feel confident troubleshooting tech issues.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will be a proactive team-player.
  • You will be experienced working to specific timelines.
