About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and experienced Centre Director to join the dynamic team at Learn and Laugh Children's Centre in Five Dock, NSW. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the childcare centre, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and educational programs for children.

What you'll be doing

Providing strategic leadership and direction for the centre, developing and implementing policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and the centre's vision

Overseeing the day-to-day management of the centre, including staff supervision, rostering, and professional development

Ensuring high-quality educational programs and activities are delivered, tailored to the needs and interests of the children

Fostering strong relationships with families, the local community, and other stakeholders

Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards

Effectively managing the centre's budget and resources

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Centre Director or in a similar senior leadership role within the childcare industry

Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Demonstrated expertise in educational program development and delivery

Strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and quality standards for the childcare sector

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the community

Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children

Children and parents enter our building through a foyer area that features the children's work and leads into our parent meeting area. This area is where Parents can meet and spend periods of time with their children before and after their time at Learn & Laugh. Our Foyer area also includes an office and resource room.

Our Centre is accessed through a security protected door, which requires visitors and parents to "BUZZ" and identify themselves prior to gaining access to the building. The Foyer is where you will find parent communication pockets, and other forms of communication with families.
