A rare, growth-focused BDM role accountable for nurturing and expanding high-value enterprise accounts. This is not a traditional hunter role. It's a consultative growth position that sits between strategy, client partnerships, and light BD.

The Role
This is a high-impact role where you'll drive growth by expanding existing enterprise relationships and activating strategic new opportunities. Your focus will be split between managing key accounts and supporting the expansion of their client's Databricks practice through events, co-selling, and inbound activation. The role will see you have significant autonomy in driving your own business growth agenda.
You'll collaborate closely with delivery leads, marketing, and tech partners. Bringing together the pieces needed to scope, pitch, and close meaningful growth projects. This isn't about cold calls or KPI quotas. You won't even have revenue targets It's about building trust, solving problems, and being the commercial heartbeat of a high-performing consulting team.

Core Responsibilities
- 70–80% Focus: Deepen and grow relationships across existing enterprise accounts.
- 20–30% Focus: Grow Databricks business, handle inbound Databricks leads and build pipeline via warm connections.
- Proposal Support: Assist Partner and pre-sales lead in building proposals, costings, and tailored pitch decks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with senior decision-makers across data, marketing, analytics, and insights teams.
- Event-Led Growth: Help coordinate and run executive breakfasts, roundtables, and other events to generate leads and build the Databricks business.
- Internal Collaboration: Pull in consultants, technical leads, and Partners to shape and close deals. Multi-threading across internal and client stakeholders is key.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of data analytics, warehousing, and cloud platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and GCP.
- Understanding of business intelligence strategy and high-performance data teams.
- Commercial acumen with an ability to drive sales.
- Strong client-facing experience and commercial acumen; familiar with data engineering, analytics, warehousing, Martech, or AI/ML.
- Comfortable working around platforms like Databricks, GCP, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure (deep tech knowledge not required).
- Clear communicator, confident with senior clients, collaborative, sharp but humble.
- A long-term thinker with a business-building approach. Wants to get stuck in.
- Must genuinely enjoy technology and value technical experts. There is no room for style-over-substance operators.
- Strategic thinker. Can grow into executive-level strategy.
- A hustler mindset is required. We're an incredibly fast-growing scale-up - we want Entrepreneurial-minded individuals.
Remuneration
Target Salary: $140k-$180k package incl. super - salary & package negotiable
