Overview

Chef Manager - Aged Care | Eight Mile Plains – Cater Care. Full-time permanent role in Brisbane, QLD. On-site parking is available.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety practices
  • Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking
  • Assisting with bulk cooking operations
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
  • Participating in staff hiring, with support from the Operations Manager
Qualifications
  • A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
