Chef

In addition to cooking, the Chef supervises and trains junior staff, coordinates daily kitchen operations, and ensures compliance with food safety regulations. The position requires effective planning of food preparation, stock control, and liaison with suppliers to maintain consistent availability of fresh ingredients.

A successful Chef at Bite Pepper demonstrates leadership, efficiency under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. They work closely with management to design seasonal specials, support catering orders, and adapt to the busy peak times, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.


Cook

The Cook plays an important role in assisting the Chef with food preparation and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. Cooks at Bite Pepper focus on consistency in flavor, portioning, and presentation, supporting the team in delivering meals quickly and efficiently during busy service hours.

Cooks are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation, handling kitchen equipment properly, and following food safety procedures. They support the Chef in stock rotation, storing ingredients correctly, and helping to reduce wastage. Teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.

By contributing to the timely preparation of dishes, the Cook helps ensure that customers enjoy a satisfying dining experience. Restaurant Manager
