Technical Sales Representative - Distribution

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business within the assigned territory.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Provide product information and support to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager to share market insights and feedback.
  • Implement sales and marketing plans, including promotions and in-store activities.
  • Represent Sika at industry events and trade shows.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and store checks.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including sales and expense guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 3+ years experience in an Industrial Market field OR a relevant University degree.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or other CRM systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling within a related industry.
