Securities Finance Portfolio Manager – Business Lead. Within the Income and Markets division at Aware Super, this role is the business lead for Securities Finance, responsible for trading, strategy development and performance delivery across the securities finance book (physical and synthetic products).
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day running and development of the securities finance portfolio, supporting balance sheet efficiency and revenue generation.
- Lead trade execution and transaction management; utilize derivatives and physicals to support internal investment strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with agency lenders, brokers, asset managers, and other service providers.
- Drive expansion of capabilities in synthetic derivatives and related product areas; contribute to revenue growth targets.
- 12+ years' experience in securities finance (stock lending, repo, TRS, or prime brokerage).
- Strong understanding of loan and TRS documentation.
- Familiarity with capital and regulatory frameworks (e.g., RWA, liquidity constraints).
- Experience from buy-side treasury/portfolio finance or sell-side financing desk (delta one, repo, prime).
- Strong pricing knowledge and ideally derivatives trading experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
