About The Team & The Position

The Energy Markets & Corporate Digital Systems (EMCDS) Department is responsible for implementing and supporting various business applications for internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager - Enterprise Systems, the Senior Dynamics 365 Developer will drive innovative solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, with a focus on integrating Sensei Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) and CRM. You'll configure, customise, and enhance these platforms to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure business solutions that streamline customer, financial, and project portfolio processes.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise integrations between Sensei Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps), and CRM to enable seamless data flow across project, financial, and customer processes.
  • Develop and maintain automation, workflows, plug-ins, and custom applications using Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate needs into effective CRM and PPM enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes or improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and integration diagrams to support governance and knowledge sharing. Work with external vendors and internal teams to deliver new features, upgrades, and system changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring accurate and timely insights across financial, project, and customer data. Ensure alignment of solutions with data governance, security, and compliance requirements, including access controls and audit trails.
  • Provide end-user training, guidance, and support to improve adoption and maximise value from CRM, PPM, and FinOps integrations.
Position Requirements
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience configuring, customising, and administering Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise integrating Sensei Project Portfolio Management (PPM) with Dynamics 365 FinOps and CRM.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for building workflows, automations, and reports.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations, including data mapping, workflows, and API-based connections.
  • Proficient in custom development for Dynamics 365, including plug-ins, scripts, and form customisations.
Desirable Experience And Knowledge
  • Proficiency in C# for development within the Microsoft ecosystem. Familiarity with Azure API development and integration.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with Azure services and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices. Previous exposure to SharePoint, HRIS, and financial systems.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods and DevOps practices in a Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio management processes and tools, particularly Sensei PPM functionality.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules, including financial, project, and resource management. Understanding of integration middleware or API management tools.
Education/ Professional Certifications
  • Tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) (or working towards) highly regarded.
