Electrical Design Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Design Director to join our team. This highly skilled individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical integrity, safety, and quality of design and engineering works on assigned projects.

About the Position

This position oversees the design and engineering aspects of projects, working closely with the Project Manager to facilitate process governance, manage commercial aspects, and support procurement, construction, and commissioning efforts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical problem-solving and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary interface for internal and external interactions, offering technical advice and guidance to the team.
  • Enhance the quality, timing, cost-effectiveness, and innovation of design and delivery on assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including design resources, project management, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Identify and implement new opportunities for process improvements, technical skill enhancement, and overall design and engineering delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous project leadership experience.
  • University degree in Engineering with a focus on Energy.
  • Proven experience in Project and Design Leadership/Management.
  • Current driver's license.
