We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of 300 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic IT Help Desk/POS Support team member to join our IT team.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, we're on the lookout for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Help Desk & POS Support Officer who thrives on solving problems and supporting a large retail network If you're passionate about delivering exceptional technical support and love being the go-to person for troubleshooting IT issues, this could be the role for you.

Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT support requests from retail stores, warehouses, and Support Office teams
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk incidents efficiently, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support across POS systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Respond to support requests via phone and ticketing system with a customer-first approach.
  • Collaborate daily with Retail, Warehouse, and Head Office teams to deliver seamless IT support
  • Work closely with the IT Infrastructure team to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Contribute to system and process improvements to enhance support delivery across the business
  • Adhere to a rotating roster to ensure consistent IT support coverage across all business operations

About you:

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Basic understanding/exposure to the following concepts:

- M365 and cloud technologies

- Windows 10/11

- MacOS

- Network Infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

- MDM & RMM Tools

This full-time position offers the opportunity for you to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic IT team and environment, and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands. This is a very exciting time to join the company as you will be part of a large, experienced and super-fun team, working 5 days in the office on St Kilda Road with access to lots of public transport, cafes nearby and with dogs in the office – this is a role not to be missed
