About the Role

City of Ryde is currently undergoing extensive residential and commercial development, creating unique engineering challenges, particularly in Asset Management. This role is crucial in maintaining the City of Ryde's Asset Management System and implementing improvements to ensure a strategic approach to funding the provision of new and emerging infrastructures and services over the long term.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Civil Engineer who enjoys team leadership responsibilities and providing direction to stakeholders in Asset Management Planning and Forecasting. You will have demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills, including interpreting and applying legislation, policy, and guidelines, including Asset Management Frameworks.

In addition, you will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale infrastructure/asset management portfolios
  • Hands-on experience developing or administering asset management systems
  • High-level computer skills in data management
  • Strong written communication skills with experience developing business specifications
  • Ability to research new subject areas and produce management-level reports
  • Class C drivers' licence

Your commencing annual salary will range from $140,748.77 to $157, Civil Liability Allowance (3.5%) + Superannuation + leaseback vehicle, depending on experience and qualifications.
