We're looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead our technology journey. This newly created role will pave the way to success by driving innovation, harnessing AI, shaping our IT strategy, and ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and ready for future growth. From everyday infrastructure, to learning platforms, to communications and industrial technology, we want someone who can connect the dots and deliver real value.

We're after someone who brings technical know-how and strategic insight—someone who can see where we're heading and knows how to get us there. In this role, you'll:

• Develop and implement a future-ready IT roadmap across Australia and the UK.
• Partner with our third-party IT provider to ensure seamless governance of IT operations, cybersecurity, and end user support.
• Lead projects to optimise collaboration tools, data, systems, and communication platforms.
• Explore and implement technology to enhance crane efficiency, safety, and site operations.
• Support teams across the business with practical, scalable digital solutions.
• Bring fresh ideas and an innovative mindset to how we work and grow.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a proactive, hands-on IT leader who's just as comfortable in a strategy session as you are rolling up your sleeves to solve a tech challenge. You'll bring:

• Proven experience in IT management (preferably 10 years).
• Bachelor's degree in IT or similar is preferred.
• Strong strategic planning, project management and implementation skills with the ability to lead change.
• Understanding of cloud-based systems, communications, cybersecurity (ISO27001), privacy/GDPR requirements and infrastructure.
• Proven track record of managing various third-party IT suppliers.
• Experience working across multi-site and/ or international operations, preferably within the construction, industrial, engineering, or heavy manufacturing industries.
• A track record of using technology to drive operational efficiency.
• Clear communication skills, stakeholder influence, and the desire to make a meaningful impact.
