About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of IT to lead our technology function. In this role, you'll shape and execute our technology strategy, manage IT operations, infrastructure, and enterprise systems, and ensure security and compliance across the business. You'll partner with senior leaders to deliver technology solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and business growth. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a technology team of 3 FTE's and 2 contractors, delivering on the technology roadmap and driving operational excellence.
• Manage, optimise, and modernise enterprise technological architecture, including ERP platforms like Yardi, infrastructure, and other business applications.
• Embed and manage outsourced technology support teams and partners,
• Ensure robust cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology solutions that enhance property, leasing, and investment processes, and drive adoption.
• Manage technology budgets and resources, delivering initiatives efficiently and effectively.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation across systems, processes, and reporting.

About You

You are a proactive and strategic technology leader with excellent organisational and communication skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment where technology strategy, project delivery, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration intersect. You have a strong curiosity and eagerness to understand the business, its operations, and challenges, enabling you to design and deliver technology solutions that drive real impact. To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing ERP systems preferably in real estate, property, or investment management, ideally Yardi or equivalent platforms.
• Strong record of leading technology delivery, system implementations, and roadmap execution.
• Experience embedding and managing outsourced technology teams and vendor relationships.
• Deep understanding of data governance, analytics, reporting, and financial/investment modelling systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation, change adoption, and operational improvements through technology.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (Essential 8, ISO
• Advanced qualifications in IT are highly desirable.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and innovation trends relevant to real estate, sustainability, and automation.
• Lead by example, providing guidance on strategic priorities while also stepping in to support the team with operational needs when required.
