Overview

Join our client as their Office Manager and become the go-to person who keeps everything running like clockwork. You'll collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and the team, using your communication skills and problem-solving abilities to keep operations on track and help the business flourish.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position is key to ensuring the smooth daily operations of our client's team, with a strong focus on administration. You'll support the leadership team, including the Production and Finance Managers, across a variety of important tasks, including:

  • Overseeing daily office operations and keeping filing systems organised and accessible.
  • Providing administrative support, from data entry and document preparation to record management.
  • Coordinating schedules, meetings, and appointments to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Welcoming and onboarding new apprentices, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Partnering with production management to track and record purchases, keeping operations moving.
  • Managing calls, emails, and mail, ensuring communication is clear and timely.
  • Assisting with weekly payroll and Accounts Payable to support smooth financial operations.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role where you've kept operations running efficiently.
  • Solid knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or similar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, effectively managing your time and priorities.
