Commercial Site Manager – GemLife

Are you an experienced site manager who thrives on delivering high-end commercial builds with precision and pride?

Join GemLife, one of Australia's fastest-growing developers of luxury lifestyle resorts for active over-50s. We're seeking a Commercial Site Manager to take ownership of our clubhouse and resort facility builds — from wellness centres and cinemas to bars, pools, and summer houses — all designed and built to a premium finish.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage end-to-end site delivery of architecturally designed commercial facilities
  • Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, programs, and quality control on site
  • Work closely with the internal design, construction, and development teams to bring resort precincts to life
  • Ensure site safety, compliance, and smooth coordination of all on-site trades and works
  • Report on progress, budgets, and potential risks, while leading site meetings and inspections

What We're Looking For

  • A hands-on, solutions-focused site leader with strong commercial construction experience
  • Someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-quality environments and knows how to drive programs to completion
  • Experience working on resort, hospitality, or public-use buildings highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of QLD building codes, WHS, and relevant regulations
