**Capral Aluminium** is seeking a Trade Centre Manager to oversee and coordinate all activities at our busy Trade Centre located in the beautiful surroundings of** Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast.** As Trade Centre Manager, you will drive industry best practices, focusing on process improvement and efficiency, while ensuring the smooth operation of all site functions.

**About Capral**

**Capral** is Australia’s largest extruder and a leading distributor of aluminium products. With approximately 1000 employees spread across the nation in manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and offices, we offer great variety and room for movement.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Communicate sales objectives and establish a baseline for measuring actual sales performance.
- Provide distribution and sales services to customers within the region ensuring standards and processes are consistent with national goals and objectives.
- Ensure the site has appropriate equipment and support facilities to fulfil customer orders within nominated time and cost constraints.
- Prepare reports to communicate and illustrate performance in meeting objectives and to identify key customer performance issues.
- Ensure staffing is of a calibre and quantum to meet sales and customer service objectives and cover employee leave absences.
- Manage the centre to ensure product is stored in a secure manner and operational housekeeping is up to an appropriate standard.
- Demonstrate effective Safety, Health, and the Environment (‘SH&E’) leadership, communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators, and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives.
- Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation, and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for ‘SH&E’.

**About You**

You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a high-performance culture. To be considered applicants **MUST** have:

- Proven management experience
- Excellent organisational and people skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients / customers within the local area
