Job Description

As Sous Chef of Garçon Bleu, elevate your culinary skills to new levels of excellence. We will encourage you to explore your creativity and extend your repertoire, bringing joy to our guests with every mouthful. The food you prepare, cook, and serve will leave our guests wanting more.

You will play a pivotal role in our Garçon Bleu kitchen, working alongside and leading a magnifique team. Assisting the Executive Chef and Head Chef, you will manage daily food preparation, production and implementation of menus which are designed to deliver innovative French re-imagined cuisines

You will provide hands-on supervision of our culinary team, ensuring a consistently high-quality product.

By actively sharing ideas and suggestions, you will help improve the kitchen environment and menus. Managing food costs through careful preparation, service, and storage of food will also be crucial in your role.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3+ industry experience in a similar role, with high-end dining operations
  • Relevant trade qualification. French trained or experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in leading, training and developing teams
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a diverse team
