Our client is an Australian-owned software and consulting firm based in Newcastle, NSW. With nearly 25 years in operation, they provide specialist expertise and guidance to help manage environmental, climate, health, and safety risks and opportunities for tourism, leisure, entertainment, and hospitality businesses. This role offers career progression into a more specialised Environmental Consulting or Marketing and Communications support within the business.

Responsibilities
  • As the company\'s first point of contact for all incoming communications, you will field calls and enquiries and provide diary management and client management support to the leadership team.
  • Perform periodic customer check-ins, contract renewal follow-ups, and help desk enquiry responses.
  • Coordinate weekly stand-up meetings and assist with the maintenance of project management tools to help ensure teams meet project deadlines.
  • Help maintain good communication across the teams and divisions.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated background in customer service or sales, particularly with the management of long-term client relationships; ability to deliver exceptional customer service as the main point of contact for inbound enquiries.
  • Technical application and analytical skills: knowledge of the organisation\'s digital product suite (training provided) with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Tenacious follow-up and organisational skills to manage large volumes of warm lead enquiries, understand customer needs, advise on product suitability, handle objections, and close sales.
  • A tertiary background in environmental management or OHS is desirable but not compulsory.
  • Sound understanding of climate change and risk management (environmental and safety) and its impact on business.
