New Role - CARTAGE COORDINATOR

With my client's business flourishing, they're in search of a seasoned Cartage Coordinator to join the operations team.

  • Coordinate timely deliveries & inform clients
  • Arrange quarantine inspection bookings as per directions
  • Manage accounts receivable and monitor COD payments
  • Maintain accurate data within CargoWise and communicate exceptions and delays to stakeholders
  • Arrange customs clearance as required
  • Book cartage with internal or external carriers
  • Plan internal truck run sheets & update timesheets
  • Notify external customers of delivery notices
  • Inform customers of delays
  • Manage COD checklist for outstanding payments
  • Complete Client Empty Forms for external FCL clients
  • Process empty returns to external FCL cartage providers
  • Register airfreight B jobs
  • Book quarantine inspections as per directions
  • Follow up on outturn reports for B jobs
  • Action outturn reports
  • Monitor shipment customs status via ICS
  • Liaise with interstate offices and arrange local cartage

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 12 months industry experience with sound knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Cartage Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient organizational abilities
  • Effective task prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedicated client focus, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Motivated, flexible, and forward-thinking
  • Positive attitude and team player
