We're looking for an inspiring Program Lead – Indigenous Access to lead our team in building stronger connections, healthier communities, and culturally safe services that honour the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As the Program Lead – Indigenous Access, you'll lead a dynamic team in delivering programs that strengthen the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You'll work in partnership with Elders, Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and health stakeholders to ensure the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples shape the future of inclusive aged care.
You'll Also- Lead and mentor staff across Indigenous Access programs
- Oversee implementation of BHN's Aged Care Sector Development workplan
- Strengthen relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, community members, and Elders
- Contribute to culturally safe, person-centred services
- Ensure services align with community needs and national reform priorities
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Are passionate about community empowerment and cultural leadership
- Have experience in program delivery, policy implementation, or service reform in Indigenous health or community services
- Have strong connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Are a collaborative leader who brings people together to create real change
- A relevant qualification in Health, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in program leadership, especially within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contexts
- Cultural knowledge and the ability to communicate sensitively with First Nations peoples
- Experience managing stakeholder partnerships, team performance, and service delivery outcomes
- Commitment to cultural safety, continuous improvement, and positive workplace culture
- National Police Check & Working with Children Check
- Valid working rights in Australia
- A current driver's licence (preferred)
