It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC's consumer education and MoneySmart.

This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including MoneySmart, and CCA's strategy.

From 2025, ASIC's MoneySmart program, which was accessed by more than 11 million Australians last year, will start delivering a new ongoing program to ensure Australians have easy access to independent, reliable information on superannuation and retirement through new consumer education campaigns, content and tools.

The role

As Senior Manager, Consumer Campaigns and Content, you will:

  2. Drive the implementation of ASIC's consumer communication strategy, shaping the future of ASIC's consumer and investor communications and expanding MoneySmart's reach and relevance.
  3. Act as a media spokesperson, building strong relationships with key journalists, opinion leaders, and stakeholders to enhance ASIC and MoneySmart's engagement with media on consumer and investor finances.
  4. Oversee the creation and optimisation of best-in-class content, ensuring an audience-led, data-driven approach that maximises engagement and effectiveness.
  5. Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring high-impact delivery and compliance with regulatory and financial communication best practices.
About you

You have extensive experience in communications, public relations, media, marketing or related fields. You bring a deep understanding of digital content creation, SEO, social media marketing and web analytics. You have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing compelling, user-centric content that cuts through in a crowded media landscape. Experience in the financial services industry and a strong passion for financial education and consumer advocacy are highly regarded.

Your exceptional stakeholder management, media relations, and content-first storytelling expertise enable you to influence executives, advise technical experts, and engage with consumer groups effectively. You are highly organised, with strong strategic planning and project management skills, and thrive in fast-paced, complex environments.
