Job DescriptionAs an Account Manager, you will build strong partnerships between Expeditors and your customer accounts, which include reputable local and global companies. You will develop, maintain, lead, and measure our product and service commitments to meet your portfolio's needs. You will seek opportunities for service enhancement and tactical management improvements, leveraging our diverse network of experts worldwide to increase our share of customer business annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships within customer organizations to understand their dynamics, decision-making, and strategic alignment, establishing trusted partner status.
- Customer Knowledge: Develop expertise on your accounts, including market intelligence, product and service knowledge, customer systems, and supply chain insights.
- Business Development: Identify and execute strategic opportunities that align with customer supply chain objectives and Expeditors' initiatives.
- Business Intelligence: Use data fluency and business intelligence tools for gathering, analyzing, and reporting information to improve performance.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, business development, or account management
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret and present data and analytics
- Stakeholder management and influence skills at various organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (preferred)
