About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager/Account Manager to manage key industry accounts while driving new business opportunities across the fragrance, beauty, and health manufacturing sectors.

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening long-term partnerships with major manufacturers while identifying new growth areas through consultative selling and solution-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with major national accounts in the fragrance, beauty, and health industries.
  • Develop new business pipelines by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients.
  • Understand customer needs and collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored ingredient and additive solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to guide strategy.
  • Achieve sales targets, contribute to strategic account planning, and report on business development performance.

About You

  • Proven track record in business development or account management within ingredients, chemicals, fragrance, or FMCG manufacturing.
  • Strong technical sales background with the ability to translate product features into customer solutions.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with experience managing tier-one accounts.
  • Commercially savvy, self-driven, and motivated by delivering results.
  • Based in Melbourne with the ability to travel domestically as required.
