Position Overview

Our vision is to elevate our Benefits, Compensation and Well-being practices to the next level. With strong foundations already in place, we're looking for a Total Rewards professional who can help scale these critical programs with agility and impact.

The Dematic APAC Compensation and Benefits Specialist will connect local market knowledge with global best practices to support total rewards strategies that drive business growth and employee engagement across APAC - including China, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, India, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This role ensures our offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with global standards and local market needs. The ideal candidate brings regional insight, analytical strength, and a collaborative mindset to support our diverse workforce.

Tasks And Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Total Rewards Strategy & Execution
  • In close partnership with Global Total Rewards leadership and regional HR leadership, design and implement compensation and benefits programs tailored to APAC markets (both existing and emerging), ensuring alignment with global frameworks and local compliance.
  • In collaboration with Global Total Rewards and established frameworks, lead annual compensation cycles including merit reviews, bonus planning, and market benchmarking.
  • Investigate where rewards and recognition programs can be improved and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Finance to ensure alignment of benefits strategy with business goals and budget.

Benefits Program Management
  • Oversee health, wellness, and leave programs across multiple APAC countries.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Proactively monitor and adapt to regulatory changes affecting benefits and compensation.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Conduct market analyses and internal equity reviews to inform compensation practices and decisions.
  • Track and report on compensation and benefits metrics, providing insights to leadership.
  • In partnership with Global Total Rewards processes, support audits and ensure data integrity across systems.

Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
  • Educate business leaders, HR and employees on total rewards policies and practices.
  • Lead training and communication efforts to drive understanding and adoption of programs.
  • Provide front-line support to HR business partners on all aspects of the employee lifecycle as it relates to compensation and benefits process and programs.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for APAC total rewards topics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Corporate experience in compensation and benefits, with at least several years in positions spanning APAC markets.
  • Experience in Unionised environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of APAC labor laws, benefits regulations, and market practices.
  • Proven experience managing cross-border programs and vendor relationships.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with HRIS and compensation tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
