This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make their mark in the payables function, bringing knowledge and experience to the table.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a 3-6 month contract basis. They are located within the heart of Macquarie Park, close to public transport + free parking, and offer 2 days of work from home flexibility.
About The RoleReporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and working collaboratively within a close-knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and expense claims, with experience in high-volume invoice processing being highly advantageous.
- Maintaining vendor relationships and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as procurement and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounts payable procedures and systems.
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the finance manager or senior management.
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- Experience processing 100+ invoices daily
- Experience with large ERP software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP)
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, team support willingness, and keen eye for detail.
