Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as the Accounts Payable Officer at Chery Motor Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable functions and maintaining accurate financial records. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing: Accurately process and code invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.

Payment Processing: Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, in a timely manner.

Expense Verification: Review and verify employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records, including digital and physical files.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial laws related to accounts payable.

Qualifications:

Automotive industry experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Prior experience in accounts payable or a related role is advantageous.

Please note this role is one year fixed term.
