Job DescriptionWe are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Prolim Technologies, based in Moorabbin (VIC), is actively seeking an ICT Support Technician (Customer Support) to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Prolim Technologies offers end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering solutions, including CAD/CAM/CAE tools such as SolidEdge, NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, and IoT platforms. As a Siemens Expert Partner, they provide consulting, implementation, training, customization, and support services to enhance innovation and efficiency for businesses across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you will provide support, education, and guidance in deploying and maintaining clients' computer infrastructure. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, contributing to clients' engineering and product development success.
Main Responsibilities- Responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware.
- Supporting clients with Siemens PLM solutions to ensure minimal disruption.
- Assessing software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions.
- Diagnosing and resolving system problems and user-reported issues.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining PLM system infrastructure such as Teamcenter.
- Developing user training sessions and creating technical documentation.
- Collaborating with users and engineers to resolve complex issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in PLM support, especially with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including Solid Edge, NX, and Rhino.
- Knowledge of PLM modules like Requirement Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration.
- Technical skills in TCL, VB.NET, HTML.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus bonus and superannuation. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
