We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Resources and Risk Coordinator to join our team on a full-time 1-year contract. The role focusses on coordinating all aspects of the employee lifecycle, supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Risk and Compliance functions and contributing to initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, data entry, documentation, training and offboarding
  • The implementation, development and review of policies, procedures and documentation
  • Maintain and update training programs within St James compliance portal
  • Maintenance of the administration requirements of St James compliance portal
  • Incident reports and escalate as appropriate
  • Review and update content on the WHS internal SharePoint page

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or currently undertaking
  • A strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance systems
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
