Senior Human Resource Business Partner

  • As a trusted advisor, you will mentor and supervise operational HR staff to deliver technical and strategic human resource advice across various areas, including employee lifecycle, workforce management, performance management, employee relations, compliance, conflict resolution, rehabilitation services, recruitment and selection, and learning and development.
  • You will identify and deliver human resources initiatives in partnership with the People and Culture team to build capability that supports people and business objectives.
  • Expert advice on human resources legislation, policies and procedures will be provided to promote compliance, mitigate risk, and facilitate best practice outcomes.
  • You will represent HR at management meetings and internal forums to support workforce planning, operational reporting, and strategic HR discussions.
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor, providing coaching and practical solutions to improve workplace relationships, engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Build staff capability and leadership in HR processes, legislative and delegate responsibilities, effective record keeping, and conduct and performance management.
  • Support the implementation of strategic workforce, diversity and inclusion initiatives, business operational plans, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Foster continuous improvement by maintaining up-to-date HR knowledge, mentoring team members, and driving enhancements to deliver effective HR services, processes, and systems.
