About the Role:

Challenge Community Services is looking for a Coordinator of Supports to join our team. In this role, you'll work with people living with a disability to help them build skills, connect with their community, and reach their goals through the NDIS.

You'll work directly with clients and families, coordinating the right supports, building community connections, and ensuring services meet individual needs. Support is based on client choice, independence, and inclusion — delivered at home or in the community.

Key tasks include:

  • Coordinating supports and life transitions

  • Supporting employment and community access

  • Building daily living and life skills

  • Providing early intervention where needed

  • Helping with independent travel and transport

  • Working within budgets and NDIS guidelines

  • Building relationships with local services and networks

This is a flexible and rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping others live more independently.

About You:

Essential:

  • Qualifications or experience in Disability, Social Work, Education, or related fields

  • Experience supporting people with disabilities (adults and/or children)

  • Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based practice

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines

  • Confident working with budgets and reporting requirements

  • Skilled in building relationships and solving problems

  • Able to work respectfully with people from all backgrounds

  • Knowledge of NDIS and disability-related legislation

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • Experience providing disability services

  • Familiarity with Disability Inclusion Act and National Standards

Requirements:
  • Understanding of National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Current NSW Working with Children's Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Police Check
