A growing, Australian, private Insurance Builder specialist is seeking a driven and connected Business Development Manager this NEW role will focus on driving growth by acquiring new business with key clients, managing key broker and client relationships, and shaping product strategy within the insurance sector for construction and property risks.

The Role - What You'll Be Doing

Core responsibilities typically include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to be on insurance panels, through strategic planning, established relationships and market research.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with broker partners, loss adjusters, and all our insurance clients.
  • Representing the company at industry events to build professional connections and enhance brand awareness among brokers and large-scale clients.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or senior account roles in insurance—preferably within construction, property or general insurance.
  • Strong networks within the brokers, loss adjusters, insurance clients within the construction/property market segment.
  • Deep understanding of building risks, insurance products, and the regulatory landscape.
