A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Built form Development Manager to join Stockland on the Sunshine Coast.

Reporting into a Senior Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on one of our flagship communities in Queensland.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for leadership in developing and driving the project strategy of some of Stockland’s award-winning large scale communities integrating town houses and apartments with commercial acuity at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities:

- Actively manage all aspects of Project launch and delivery, inclusive but not limited to:
- Design and planning submissions and approvals
- Coordination of project launch
- Leading various aspects of the marketing and sales process.
- Developing and delivering on project vision
- Awarding, managing and administering contracts
- Reporting, budgeting, risk assessment, monthly reviews and cash flow management
- Foster cross-divisional collaboration to maximise overall profitability by leveraging Stockland’s mixed-use capabilities.
- Work with the project teams to improve the customer experience along the customer journey and ensure professional and timely management of customer issues.
- Manage the strategy and implementation of various aspects of the sales and marketing process
- Promote and role model Stockland's continued commitment to and leadership in sustainability and support the delivery of a community and environmental shared value proposition
- Continually monitor market and competitor activity in relation to the direction and performance of the project, implementing product changes in conjunction with members of the cross functional project team when applicable to maintain competitiveness
- Develop a team culture that delivers high value-add outputs and an environment where people excel.
- Empower, lead and coach/ mentor junior team members and members of other teams to build their engagement, capabilities and knowledge to effectively deliver required outcomes
- Proactively Identify the key business risks and initiate risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all HSE processes are properly implemented within the area of responsibility.

About You:

- Degree qualified in a related discipline
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with an adaptive leadership style that is collaborative
- Solid background in residential (town houses and apartment specifically) development will be highly regarded
- Project, planning, cost and risk management expertise
- Development industry knowledge and expertise
- Exceptional stakeholder’s management and influencing skills
- Commercial acumen and significant forecasting and financial management
- Customer centric, focus on data analytics and insights to inform decision making
- Self-motivated and results focussed
