About The Role

We are seeking an organised and professional Administrative Officer to provide high-level, confidential administrative and secretarial support for our team, based at Perth Children's Hospital. This role is integral to the smooth running of the Division, offering support to the Administrative Coordinator, Divisional Co-Directors, clinicians, and other staff.

In this role, you will demonstrate respectful, efficient and professional communication with both internal staff and external clients or stakeholders. Your ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and support departmental operations will contribute to the effectiveness of our team and the quality of services we provide.

Key responsibilities include
  • Providing comprehensive, confidential administrative and secretarial support within the division.
  • Screening and managing incoming correspondence, phone calls, and in-person enquiries, directing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Liaising with internal staff, Heads of Department, and other health services.
  • Providing secretarial support for departmental meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, and document distribution.
  • Maintaining efficient records and information systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
