FSHD Global Research Foundation is a not-for-profit medical research organisation dedicated to finding treatments and a cure for Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) while improving the health of muscles for all. We are a small but dynamic team of like-minded individuals who seek to make the world a better place.

About the role

We're looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Lead to lead and grow revenue across philanthropy, corporate giving, and innovative campaigns. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll secure high-value partnerships, deliver creative events, and inspire donors through compelling campaigns and engagement

What You Will Do

• Drive a fundraising strategy to meet revenue targets
• Build relationships with major donors, trusts, and foundations
• Create and grow corporate partnerships and sponsorships
• Deliver innovative fundraising events and digital campaigns
• Write grant applications and proposals
• Manage donor care and communications

What You Will Need to Succeed

You have:

• Proven success in fundraising, philanthropy or business development
• Experience securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships and grants
• Excellent networking, negotiation and communication skills
• A track record of delivering creative fundraising initiatives
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A genuine passion for making an impact in medical research
