Are you a strategic and relationship-focused fundraising leader ready to make a meaningful impact? We're seeking a passionate Fundraising Manager to lead a diverse and dynamic fundraising program that supports community transformation and social inclusion.

About the Role

This leadership position is responsible for driving the strategic and operational success of a multi-stream fundraising program. With oversight of corporate partnerships, major gifts, community fundraising, and direct marketing, you'll lead innovation, build lasting donor relationships, and deliver sustainable income growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll shape donor engagement strategies that reflect the organisation's values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in organisational strategy-setting and execution as part of the leadership team, contributing to cross-team initiatives.
  • Lead strategy and operations across all fundraising channels encompassing corporate partnerships, community fundraising and events, major gifts and philanthropy, gifts in wills, direct marketing, and appeals.
  • Develop and implement robust prospect pipeline and qualification processes across all fundraising channels. Oversee the planning, implementation, tracking, and reporting of all fundraising activities, events, and engagement programs.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of significant donor relationships and proactively identify and build new long-term partnerships with corporates, trusts, foundations, and individuals.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of donor journeys and fundraising communication plans to deliver exceptional donor experiences.
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and performance across the fundraising team
  • Build team capacity through performance management, talent development, and succession planning.

About You

You're a values-driven leader with:

  • 5+ years' senior leadership experience in fundraising and donor relations
  • Proven success in securing major gifts and multi-year partnerships
  • Strong strategic planning, budget management, and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Deep understanding of Australia's philanthropic landscape
  • Proficiency in fundraising CRMs and data reporting tools
