Overview

Job Title: Sales Manager – Mining Equipment

Location: Perth, WA

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the mining equipment business sector. Working under the guidance, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of mining machinery and equipment, building strong relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities within the mining industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and technical support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base in the mining sector.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of mining equipment.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts in collaboration with the National Sales Manager, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to direct supervisor.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as parts, service, delivery, training, and technical to ensure customer satisfaction and support after-sales needs.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mining equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Industry knowledge of Mining Equipment and Mining.
  • Execute Deals: Understanding of deals that have been executed in the past.
  • Team player with good culture fit.
  • Travel: Travel commitments, locally and international visits to factory in China.
