Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Head Chef of Events at LK Hospitality, located on-site in Melbourne, VIC. The Head Chef will oversee all culinary aspects of event operations, including event preperation and planning, kitchen staff supervision, food preparation, wokring with our sales team and ensuring high standards of food quality. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and collaborating with event planners to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
  • Proficiency in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating with event planners
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Flexibility and creativity in catering to various event requirements
  • Experience in high-end dining and large-scale event production is a plus
