What You'll Be Doing The Waitlist Management Surgical Bookings Officer is to provide ongoing development of booked and waiting time management practices which reflect the health services current position and future direction.
This Position is also responsible for providing accurate information in order to enhance the management of booked patients.
It is the role of the Booking Officer to provide time appropriate bookings and allocation of all theatre lists in accordance with the district , state required policies and clinical indicators.
Where You'll Be Working Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.
Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged-care services.
It also features specialised Mental Health and Cancer facilities.
Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.
The hospitals share a close-knit, community-focused team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, and compassionate care.
The ongoing multi-million dollar redevelopment at Campbelltown Hospital will further enhance its capabilities, introducing advanced equipment and amenities.
Together, these sister hospitals ensure that the diverse needs of the community are met with excellence and innovation in healthcare.

Sound knowledge of NSW Ministry of Health policy and procedures relating to Waitlist Managements and proficient use of Patient Administration Systems.
Demonstrated computer literacy including efficient keyboard and data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Show an ability to maintain electronic and hard copy documents / data bases.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision, while also applying problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills in a high-pressure, busy, and demanding environment.
Previous experience in hospital Front line services and or health care systems, with demonstrated commitment to Quality and patient focused services.
