At our core, RSL Life Care provides care and services to veterans and seniors who live in our communities or are receiving support at home.
Our vision of creating proud communities living their best lives is at the heart of everything we do, as we continue to build upon our legacy of supporting veterans and their families for more than 100 years.
This is an opportunity to join a large social purpose organisation where your skills and compassion will be valued, enabling you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Agreement Senior Specialist to lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of RSL Life Care's Enterprise Agreement (EA) strategy, negotiation, and implementation.
This pivotal role combines strategic thinking, hands-on project delivery, and deep industrial relations expertise to ensure successful EA outcomes that meet our organisational goals, comply with legislation, and foster a positive and engaged workforce.
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract (6 months).
Your new role will see you:

Develop and lead the organisation's EA strategy in line with operational and workforce needs.
Plan and execute EA negotiations, including stakeholder consultations, union engagement, and compliance with technical requirements of the Fair Work Act.
Manage the EA lifecycle as a formal project, including timelines, risks, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
Drive implementation and change management initiatives post-EA approval, including training, communications, and system updates.
Provide expert advice on EA interpretation, modern awards, and industrial relations legislation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, unions, and regulatory bodies.

To be successful in this role we would expect you to have:

A Bachelor's degree in Law, HR, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
Significant experience in project management within HR or IR contexts.
Proven experience leading or supporting enterprise agreement negotiations and implementations.
A strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and EA processes.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with unions.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex IR concepts into clear, accessible language.
High attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with confidentiality.
Experience in large, unionised, and complex organisations.
Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, etc) highly regarded.

Benefits of working with RSL Life Care:

Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year.
This allows you to reduce your taxable income by receiving part of your salary as tax-free benefits like super contributions, car leasing, and more.
Staff discounts across 700 select retail stores through Maxxia Rewards.
Fitness Passport.
Hybrid working model.

Our commitment to diversity: We are proud to stand for our unique values: Do the Right Thing, Aim Higher, Care from the Heart, and Act as One team.
We welcome and encourage applications from people across our diverse community, especially from Veterans, current serving ADF personnel, their families, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
We believe everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, valued, and heard, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or disability.
It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
