About the role Project Manager – Ash Dam Closure Location: Liddell Power Station, Muswellbrook, NSW At AGL, We're looking for a skilled Civil Closure Project Manager to oversee the closure and rehabilitation of theLiddell Ash Dam and Ravensworth facility .

Key Responsibilities of the role: Lead Closure Operations : Oversee daily closure and rehabilitation activities, ensuring alignment with AGL's environmental and safety commitments.
Project & Financial Management : Develop and execute project plans, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with designers, auditors, regulators, contractors, and internal teams to maintain transparency and alignment.
Compliance & Risk Oversight : Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including contaminated land and dam safety requirements, while managing project risks.
Contract & Quality Control : Manage tenders and commercial agreements, uphold quality standards through inspections and audits.
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering (or similar).
Experience in project and contractor management.
Leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
Experience with Dam Safety NSW regulations and contaminated land management (ideal).
Familiarity with closure planning, emergency response, and environmental remediation (ideal).
