Your new role Reporting to the Portfolio Manager the Project Delivery Officer (PDO) / Engineering Officer (EO) will work with a team of Engineers, EO's and PDO's to plan maintenance, breakdowns and construction on Ausgrid's Distribution network, which includes overhead, underground and substations work on 415 V/11k V.
You will undertake desktop analysis of assigned work, site visits and discussion with Field Supervisors / Leading Hands.
Job Planning which includes, preparation of Network Access Requests, Field Job Packs, Resource Requests, Customer negotiation and notification of access and supply interruptions, and booking associated external resources.
The PDO/EO manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and provides quality job documentation to field teams to ensure the safe delivery of work for the continued reliable operation of Ausgrid's network.

We are looking for someone who is electrical trade qualified with technical expertise gained within the energy industry.
You will have a proven capability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Advanced Diploma in an electrical or relevant engineering discipline OR Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician/Cable Jointer/Lineworker)Demonstrated ability to apply experience to resolve routine issues during delivery of works in the field.
Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordinating or supervising of work activities and / or resources Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and / or projects and prioritise activities Intermediate computer skills with experience in a variety of software packages, tools or general applications Experience in monitoring costs and financial impacts across work activities, projects or programs of work.
