We are seeking an experienced Senior HR professional for this full-time, ongoing position based at Doncaster.
This role will leading the strategic planning, development, and delivery of human resource and industrial relations initiatives that strengthen and improve systems of work across AV.
While WFH / Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Doncaster Headquarters and other role required locations in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role Reporting to the Director, Workplace and Employee Relations, this role will provide advice and guidance on people related initiatives, ensuring the strategic direction of the organisation is consistent with the AV values, behaviours, expectations and strategic plan.
Responsibilities include but not limited to : Develop and lead the organisation's HR strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with broader organisational strategy, operational imperatives, and future HR related requirements Design and implement enterprise-wide HR initiatives that enhance systems of work, HR capability and organisational resilience Support transformation initiatives including change management, workforce planning, leadership capability development, and diversity and inclusion strategies in partnership with leads across People and Culture Collaborate closely with HR operational teams and across P&C leadership to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively embedded into day-to-day practice and service delivery Contribute to establishment of strong HR and people management programs and assist in providing advice and guidance on change management in the context of the industrial landscape About you The successful candidate will have completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experience in a HR or related discipline.
Additional requirements include but not limited to : Extensive experience in leading HR strategy development and delivery within large, complex, and dynamic environments (experience in emergency services, public sector, or highly operational environments highly regarded)Demonstrated expertise in organisational design, workplace relations, change management, and systems improvement with high level political acumen and understanding of governance and risk in a public sector or regulated environment Proven ability to lead complex projects and programs with cross-functional impact Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical solutions Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including business writing, with a proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead through change Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV, you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work / life balance.
