About the Role

We are looking for a curious and innovative individual to join the iptiQ ANZ team

You will work across a variety of functions to proactively support the relationship and performance of external service providers. Drawing on your experience in life insurance operations, you will play a key role in supporting the emerging trends, risk, issues and opportunities across internal and external stakeholders at iptiQ ANZ.

Your responsibilities will include, however, are not limited to:

  • Collation and oversight of TPA operations reporting (including monthly Operations Performance Dashboard) to monitor validity, timeliness, and adequacy of data;
  • Perform monthly quality assurance call monitoring of TPAs to ensure it meets approved quality assurance framework;
  • Prepare and support monthly TPA invoices;
  • Perform policy administration activities for in-house Advantedge insurance portfolio;
  • Perform remediation activities for Freedom insurance portfolio;
  • Provide support for the incident management process;
  • Development and maintenance of process and procedure documentation for the Operations team to ensure guidelines are clear, sufficient, and current;
  • Support the Operations team in responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provide support in delivery of strategic initiatives and priorities within the iptiQ ANZ business unit; and
  • Work with TPA Relationship Manager and Operations Manager to identify new solutions to drive opportunities for Operational Excellence.

About the Team

The Operations Assurance team is a cross-functional team, responsible for managing the arrangements we have in place with two Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and brand partners.

About You

Essentials

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Australian life insurance environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team; and
  • Tertiary qualification in business administration (or similar).

Nice to Haves

  • At least 5 years' experience in Australian life insurance operations;
  • Ability to build inclusive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Collaboration capabilities which includes actively fostering cross-functional teamwork; and
  • Ability to consider data, identify trends and anomalies and utilise appropriate information to develop targeted and timely action plans and communications
