Plan for and deliver a range of environmental projects and park services

About the role

The primary focus of the position is to plan for, and deliver, in park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan.

The Ranger will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance.

The Ranger will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment ensuring that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success.

The Ranger will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.


We're looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification of a Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable.
  • A current Manual Driver's Licence is required
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A current Resume
  • A Cover Letter OR A cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria and Capabilities as outlined in the position description.
  • Aboriginality Form
