Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, as Property and Portfolio Manager you will oversee the management and optimisation of the Health and Branch Network property portfolio, including lease management, acquisition, capital improvements and the provision of repair and maintenance support across the network.

You will lead and drive high performing outcomes across facilities construction services across a statewide geographical footprint and a portfolio that comprises of clinical, retail and commercial properties to the value of $10m.

You will have responsibility for revenue analysis across the portfolio, conducting budgeting, forecasting and reporting to evaluate property expenditure and make recommendations for future utilistation.

You will develop and implement an effective procurement management process suitable for all current and future vendors.

You will oversee property maintenance, repairs and capital improvement projects to ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with regulatory requirements.

In conjunction with senior leadership, you will review and negotiate lease terms, and implement strategies to optimize rental expenditure and service levels across the property portfolio.

Additionally, you will take opportunities to build positive relationships with regulators, auditors and other external stakeholders.


To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced leader in property or property management, ideally across multi-disciplinary projects in clinical property environments.

You will be experienced in the design, fit out, management and leasing of large complex clinical or retail fit out projects in excess of $5m.

You will have deep knowledge of property management principles and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will have extensive experience across large complex projects of property leasing, working directly with landlords and contractual management.

Memberships with the AIPM, FMA or PCA would desirable.


You will be a conceptual thinker with strong financial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions, solve problems and implement effective solutions in the context of property management.

You are known for your ability to effectively engage and influence across an organization and confidently present complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders including the executive level.
