About the opportunity
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to thrive in this unique role.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Surveyor, to coordinate the building certification, inspection and development assessment functions of one of our 3 building teams.

We are looking for a like-minded person to coordinate, lead, mentor, and refine our business as well as explore new opportunities

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Building Surveyor


Council Accredited Certifier
  • Accredited Certifier
  • Building Surveyor, issued by the Building Professionals Board
  • Current class C driver's licence.

Desirable:

  • Accreditation as a Council accredited certifier of A1
  • Accredited Certifier
  • Building Surveyor Grade 1 (unconditional).

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • 35hour working week
  • Leaseback vehicle
