The Queensland Complaints Clearinghouse Program is seeking an experienced Manager for the Complaints Handling Improvement Centre Project to lead the implementation of functions to support this key priority initiative.

This is a temporary opportunity for up to 12 months.

As Manager - Complaints Handling Improvement Centre (CHIC), you will play a key role in establishing and leading a team focused on improvement complaints handling process and contribute to the staged implementation of the Queensland Complaints Clearinghouse. This is an opportunity for a person with experience in complaints management and leadership to contribute as part of the initial to team to drive the execution of this priority program.

Key responsibilities of the Manager - CHIC include:

Lead and manage the functions and resources, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness consistent with strategic and operational objectives.

Support team members to meet team objectives and outputs through the development of performance development agreements, coaching and mentoring.

Lead the design and implementation of innovative and practical work packages by providing strategic direction and advice through analysis, design and development phases, to improve quality assurance of complaints handling across the Queensland public service.

Act as the subject matter expert, on behalf of complaint handlers during the design of the future-state Queensland Complaints Clearinghouse.

Where required, provide high quality advice and guidance on customer complaints management issues.
