**About the role: This role has the following key responsibilities:

  • To proactively work with Trader Associations (TA) to implement the suite of governance reforms resulting from the Retail Centre Review and to ensure that these processes are followed as required.
  • Represent Council as a voting member at TA Committee Meetings.
  • Manage the TA reporting requirements and quarterly payments via the SmartyGrants platform.
  • Coordinate quarterly professional development workshops with the Centre Managers.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report to Council on the performance of each TA & Centre Manager.
  • Support the renewal of Special Rate and Charge Schemes.

Skills, experience and certificates:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with experience supporting business development programs, substantial relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience providing advice to service design and system improvements.
  • Written and numerical analytical skills
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and negotiate desired outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills that include collaboration and customer service
  • The ability to research, analyse, evaluate and formulate recommendations.
  • Strong written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and papers.
  • General business skills including operations administration, record keeping, invoicing, updating registers.
  • Experience in community consultation techniques with the capacity to determine which techniques are appropriate for the project being undertaken.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Smarty Grants and document management systems.
